Who we are

Eon Quant is a trading name of [legal entity name], a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA ([filing number]), [street address], [e-mail], [phone]. When the Swiss company [company name, Lugano, UID] takes over, we will tell you before the change.

What Eon Quant does

Eon Quant publishes model portfolios of systematic trading strategies. The same portfolio is published to every subscriber. If you choose, an independent third-party trade-copying provider (“the provider”) copies the published trades into your own broker account. You decide whether copying is on or off, and you can change that at any time.

Eon Quant never places orders in your account and never connects to your broker. We never hold your broker logins, passwords or money. Eon Quant does not give personal investment advice, does not recommend a portfolio or a dial setting to you, and does not manage your account.

Who can subscribe

To subscribe:

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You hold an individual Interactive Brokers Pro account in your own name.
  • You live in a country we accept [list of countries].
  • During the friends period, you have a personal invitation.
  • You are not subject to sanctions that apply to us or to the provider, and you do not live in a sanctioned country.
  • What you tell us about yourself is true, and you keep it up to date.

Your account with us

Keep your password and your two-step sign-in device safe. You are responsible for what is done with your account. Tell us at once at [e-mail] if you think someone else has used it. We may suspend access to protect you or the service, and we tell you why.

The friends period and paid plans

The friends period is free until [the company opens]. We do not ask for payment details and we issue no discount codes.

When paid plans open, we tell you personally. Copying continues through a grace period of [number of days] until you add a card. If you do not add one, copying stops at the end of the grace period. Your open positions stay in your account. Nothing closes them for you any more: the model portfolio’s stops and targets do not reach your account.

A paid plan starts only when you choose it. The price, the billing period and how to cancel are shown before you pay. It renews every month until you cancel.

Your controls

  • The dial (1.0× to 3.0×) sets how large the copied positions are, measured against the account size you entered. A higher dial multiplies gains and losses alike.
  • “Pause copying, keep my positions“ stops new trades from being copied. Your open positions stay in your account. Nothing closes them for you any more: the model portfolio’s stops and targets do not reach your account.
  • “Stop copying and close my positions“ can close every open position in your Interactive Brokers account, including any you opened yourself, at the current market price, and stops copying [exact scope: confirmed in testing before launch]. It cannot be undone.
  • “Leave and end my access“ (on a paid plan, “Cancel subscription“) ends your access (see Cancellation).

A change takes effect only when the provider confirms it. Starting or resuming copying asks you to approve it on the provider’s own page.

The provider and your broker

The provider and Interactive Brokers are separate companies. You sign up with them directly, under their own terms and fees; the provider’s agreement names it. We are not responsible for their services, outages, fills or decisions.

The provider’s automatic sync keeps your account in line with the published portfolio. Any trade you make by hand in that account switches it off for the whole account, without warning, until you switch it back on. Use an account dedicated to the portfolio, make no trades in it by hand, and set no maximum trade size there.

When we pause copying

We may pause copying for your account, for example when our nightly check finds a difference between our records and what the provider reports about your account, or to protect you or the service. We tell you at once. Your open positions stay in your account. Nothing closes them for you any more: the model portfolio’s stops and targets do not reach your account.

Risk

Trading futures, forex and stocks can lose money, including more than you deposit. Read the risk warning. You alone decide whether to copy a portfolio and at which dial, and you are responsible for your account, its margin and your taxes.

Results shown on this site

Results on this site are simulated unless they are clearly marked as actual trading. Read how results are shown. Nothing on this site promises a result.

Your right to withdraw

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving a reason. Your portfolio shows a “Withdraw from contract here” button for those 14 days. The details and a model form are on the cancellation page.

Use of our content

You may use the published portfolios and the site for your own account only. You may not copy, resell, republish or pass on the signals or the content, or collect them automatically.

Availability

We aim to keep the site and the publishing running, but we cannot promise that they never stop. Trades travel from our publishing system to the provider and on to your broker without passing through this website, so a website outage does not stop copying. Outages at the provider, at your broker or at market-data providers can delay or prevent it.

Liability

As far as the law allows, Eon Quant is not liable for trading losses, lost profits or indirect losses that come from using the published portfolios, the dial or the provider’s copying. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim [during the friends period: amount].

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including for death or personal injury, fraud, intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer under the mandatory law of the country where you live.

Ending the service

You can leave at any time (see Cancellation). We may end the service for you with [30 days’] notice, or at once if you break these terms or the law requires it. When the service ends, copying stops. Your open positions stay in your account. Nothing closes them for you any more: the model portfolio’s stops and targets do not reach your account.

Changes to these terms

We tell you about changes by e-mail [30 days] before they apply. If you do not agree, you can leave before then. A change of price for a paid plan is always announced in advance.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by [the law of ...]. If you are a consumer, this choice does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country. [Dispute clause for US subscribers: to be decided]

The site, the service and these terms are in English.
