Connect your broker

We publish the portfolio’s trades. If you switch copying on, an independent third-party trade-copying provider (“the provider”) copies them into your own Interactive Brokers account. You approve it on the provider’s own page and sign its agreement there, and you can switch copying off at any time. We never hold your broker logins, passwords or money, and we never connect to Interactive Brokers ourselves.

The letter U and 7 or 8 digits, for example U1234567. An individual Interactive Brokers Pro account in your name. We pass it to the provider only so it can request the connection; once the link is approved we keep only the last four digits.

When you start
Your dial

1.0× is the tested setting. A higher dial makes every copied position larger, losses included.

Continuing sends your name, e-mail, country, IP address and account number to the provider, so it can set up copying. Ask us and we tell you its name.

If Interactive Brokers asks for documents

Send them to the address the provider gives you on its approval page, never to us.

Prototype: nothing is sent or stored; buttons move to the next screen. Sample data and placeholders are in dashed boxes. Back to the tour
